Historic Age of Entrance: 8-year-olds
The normal age of entry to the college historically has been from 8 years old.
We are currently considering entry for younger students. We are looking at taking seven yearolds from September 2027.
Places for children joining at an older age are subject to availability. We currently only have room for seven students per age group. Once that age group has reached seven students, it is full. We do not normally accept children who are older than 11 on 1st September in the year of entry.
Students joining aged above 8 years old may be placed in a younger age group, may miss certain topics and/or may sit fewer GCSE exams, depending on their entry point and abilities. We can discuss specific family circumstances during the Open Day.
Next Steps
For September 2027 Entry:
Attend the Open Day on Saturday 28 November 2026, 10am. Families can additonally visit the college on a designated day in January. We have a limited number of spaces available for September 2027 entry as we wish to grow in an organised fashion. This means we are unable to guarantee a place for your child if the application is late.
