How It All Started
Peter and Lisa Hamilton
Peter and Lisa have home-educated their five children for over 15 years. The college is the fruit of many years experience of teaching their own and other people's children.
Peter was a secondary school teacher, teaching Science in schools and Physics at A Level for five years. Peter has a passion for teaching prayer and Catechesis. He has a theological master's degree from Maryvale Institute, Birmingham UK. He has an honours degree from Durham University in Physics. He is also a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and a Tech Entrepreneur.
Lisa is the wife of Peter and has taught languages to children and adults over the years in various settings. She has also taught Drama and Theatre Studies at schools for over ten years, including A Level Drama and Theatre. She has an honours degree from Bergamo University (Italy) in Modern Foreign Languages and a Master's degree from Warwick University in English Literature. Lisa is a published author of literary, religious and film articles in academic journals in English and has won literary awards for fictional writing in Italy.
Both Peter and Lisa have Post Graduate Certificates in Education and have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
